Leaving UCI for the second time
Marry Christmas !
Going through the discharge process. Will be heading back to Park Regentcy in La Harbra for what looks like at least 8 weeks of rehab. Christmas Day of 2015 is my 55th day of not being at home.
How I spent Christmas .

8:10 rolled into my room at Park Regentcy
8:45 left P. R.
9:55 rolled back into my room at UCI
The bed was 6" short and they could not get a new bed delivered because it is Chriatmas. UCI ordered me back. Had to go through being readmited. It was a bit cold outside but felt nice breathing fresh air. First time in 21 days I qaa outside.
Just talked to Doc and he just ordered everything back to where it was. Bring on the IVY's

Day 47 from home-
Came out of the cardio lab after 3 hour procedure, kept awake the whole time. Put in a stint where 96% blockage was.
Had to stay flat for another 6 hours. Whith a lot of fluid on my lungs breathing was very hard. Doc says they will wait until Tuesday to due hip surgery. After that will need another stint put in.
Sat. & Sun. I am taking it easy. Trying to get fluid out of my lungs. It's now 7:30 AM Sunday, time to eat breakfast and watch Meet The Press.
Today is Dec 15, 2015 45 days since being home.. The operation went well. They removed three hematoma and and washed out the wound and added some stitches to my elbow to stop bleeding.Tomarrow we start over with rehab.

I am coming back.
AtrunumRPI
OtOn Nov. 1st about 4;20AM I had a car accident in Placentia. I was taken to UCI in Orabge with multiple tramas. My elbow was dislocated, they fixed that and j am now in a arm brace for up to 8 weeks. My stirnum was fractured, nothing done it will heel on its own. My right leg broke at the hip. They did surgery on the fourth and put a plate and some screws to fix it.
Other problems are hypertension, arterial fib and type 2 diabetes. Test conducted after surgery indicated that I had a miles hart attack. Before surgery I had 10 units of blood transfusion. My hemoglobin had dropped to 6.7 at one point.
Took me until 11/23 to get stable enough to go to skilled. Nursing facility. Started to get a lot of blood in my urin .
In the S.N. Facility I was doing some good rehab with the PT and OT. On Dec. 4 I had a Dr. Apt. With the surgeon who did my hip. Very scary going down the 5 at 70mph in the back of an ambulance. My wound was still bleeding and they thought my elbow needed to be reset. They decided re admit me into UCI so they can go in and wash out the wound and reset my elbow under Gen. Anastasia . Had to get ok from Cardio Doc. I have been waiting 2 days now to get my Dr's to agree on a course of action.
It is now 6 AM Dec. 7. Hoping today's the day we do some procedures.
On Tue. I had x-rays of my elbow, hip and chest. Tue. About 5pm went to do elbow. They gave me a block in the side off M neck which killed all feeling in my right arm. They used a lot of fluids. Went back to my room a nd slept. About 5AM I woke up in the worst pain I have ever had. None of the pain meds help
The Docs finialy came by after being in pain for 8 Hrs and picked up the cheese blocked flipped it on its side. It keeps your arm at 45* angle to your body, pain went away in like 2Min. A little heads up would have been nice.
Went for chemical stress test. Results were not good. I have a bad hart.
Regardless the results they are going to. Put me under Gen Anistisia . They put the odds of not making it at 1000-1.
Today is 12/11/15, 40th day not going home. I have had an EG took my Meds and am getting ready to go have the the procedure . Wish me good luck.

Japhet Amador lead all minor leagues with 41 homers ( next closest had 32). He had the highest per game Avg. and had the highest 162 game PHR.

It's looks like a two horse race turning for home
J. Amatory is watching his lead disappear, with no games left this 60-1 shot will probably run out of the top 10, but today he still leads with 41 homers.
C. Davis is first MLB player to hit 40 homers this year. With 28 games left to play he has good chance to win the HR title. 15-1 were his presence odds.
Has he been drug tested lately ?
N. Cruz right on the heels of Davis has 39 home runs with 27 games left. His preseason odds were 10-1.
These two have a three homer lead over the rest of the field and will be neck and neck down the stretch.

With less than 60 games left we have a wide open race.
Japheth Amador of the AAA Mexican League is the first player to hit 40 homers this year. There is only 7 games left to play but if they were playing a 162 game season his PHR would be 64 and he would become the next 60 homers club member.
Here are the top PHR leaders.

Japhet Amador still leads all of Organized Baseball with 35 longballers, but only has 21 games left. His PHR if adjusted for 162 game season would be 62 making him a real contender for the 60 homers club. Amador leads all MiLB by 9 homers and will win the MiLB HR title.
Stanton still has the highest per-game-Avg. and if he can start playing every day would win the HR title.
I see this race going down to the wire and anyone with 25 or more homers now are in that race.

PHR Standings at the All Star Break.
The 2015 All Star Game is tonight. My home town team will have three players on the AL roster tonight and find the Angles in first place in the ALW. Pujols and Trout are two of seven players that will be battling it out to win the Home Run Title.
Very hard to make the 60 Homers Club without 33 homers by the All Star Game so I am calling it now that no one will hit 60 this year.
All players with 20 or more homers are listed. Players are listed by PHR.

HOME RUN STANDINGS as of 6/30/15
The three players with 25 or more Homers are:
G. Stanton - PHR 58, 27 HRs with 85 games left to play. National League.
J. Amatory- PHR 44, 27 HRs with 42 games left to play. Mexican League.
T. Frazier- PHR 54, 25 HRs with 87 games left to play. National League.
A player needs 33 home runs by th All Star break to have any real shot at hitting 60 homers, just don't see it happening this year.

Nelson Cruz is only player still on track to join 60 Homers Club. It's really early in the season to have to say ONLY one player is on track to hit 60 homers this year. Cruz won't keep up his HR pace forever, but his PHR is at 72
For me it is still to soon to say no one will hit 60 this year. Maybe next week.

2015 HALL OF FAME
Congratulations to the new members of the HOF.
Randy Johnson- had a 22 year pitching career with 303 wins and 166 loses. He hit 411 home runs and got the most votes (534) and 97.3% on his first time on the ballot.
Pedro Martinez- 18 year pitching career with a record of 219-100. He had 500 votes (91.1%) and 239 HRs, 1st time on ballot.
John Smoltz hit 288 home runs in a 21 year pitching career with a record of 213-155. He received 455 votes (82.7%) on his first time on ballot.
Craig Biggio received 454 votes (82.7%) this was his first time on ballot. In a 20 year career he hit 291 homers, had 1175 RBIs and BA of .281.
Some members of the Juice-IN-THE-ARM Gang also got some votes:
Player.........................votes..%...YOB
Roger Clemens...........206...37.5...3
Barry Bonds................202..36.8....3
Mark McGwire..............55...10.......9
Sammy Sosa................36....6.6.....3
Players need 75% of the vote and can only remain on the ballot for 10 years as long as they get least 5% of the vote the previous year. Bonds has one year left to make it and Sosa barely held on with 6.6%. These juicers will never get in, let's hope.
